“FEATURES AN EXCLUSIVE DAY LONG AUDIO STREAM FROM THE BAND, COMPETITIONS, INSTRUCTIONAL ARTWORKS AND MORE.”
Since releasing A Moon Shaped Pool in early May, Radiohead havetoured behind the album, teased fans with mysterious daily artwork, sold chiffon scarves for merch, shared artist interpretation videos of the LP’s songs (including one for “Glass Eyes” today), put therecord on Spotify, and more. Now, the band have announced a worldwide streaming event for their new album, as NME points out. In a note on the AMSP website, they write: “A UNIQUE RADIOHEAD EVENT TAKING PLACE ON FRIDAY JUNE 17 AT RECORD STORES GLOBALLY. FEATURES AN EXCLUSIVE DAY LONG AUDIO STREAM FROM THE BAND, COMPETITIONS, INSTRUCTIONAL ARTWORKS AND MORE.” See a list of participating stores here.
